Most people who visit Measured Progress travel through cyberspace to get there. Over the past ten years and four Web sites, we have changed our look and offerings to fit the needs of our cybervisitors. In November 2003, we launched our newest Web site, which was designed to offer more information, more efficient navigation, and a better general experience than our last four sites.
More Information
On our Web site, you can view our electronic newsletter, Bulletin Board, or subscribe to receive it by e-mail. (Click on the word “Newsletter” on the home page.) The newsletter is filled with articles intended to inform and demystify assessment for our readers. It also includes announcements, tips, and other helpful information for educators.
We have also added information about our exhibit plans, new products, and other services and resources. You can buy our products and sign up for professional development workshops online. We will continuously add new content and ask for your input. Let us know what you would like to find on our site.
We have now expanded many of our client pages to include schedules, forms, manuals, and other materials that can be downloaded directly from our Web site. We even post a photo gallery for one client so they can enjoy re-viewing past meetings, social events, and other ordinary and extraordinary moments.
More Efficient Navigation
So many of the Web sites we visit require visitors to learn their “filing system” in order to locate the information they seek. On our new site, we have made navigation easy and flexible. On the home page, you can click on a category, enter that section, and search its menus on the top and left sides of the pages. On the lower left portion of the home page, you can either click on one of the “doorways” (such as “Clients” or “Special Education”) or on the site map. From all of the pages in the site, you can type a word or phrase into the search engine and choose from the list of results.
A Better Visitors’ Experience
We hope you will visit our new Web site and let us know how we can improve it. (Be sure to also tell us what you like about the site, so we will only change things for the better.) Thank you for helping Measured Progress serve you well.
