The Council of Chief State School Officers is a nationwide, nonprofit organization composed of public officials who lead the departments responsible for elementary and secondary education in the states, in the U.S. extra-state jurisdictions, in the District of Columbia, and in the Department of Defense Education Activity. In representing the chief education officers, CCSSO works on behalf of the state agencies that serve pre-K–12 students throughout the nation.

Measured Progress Presents at National Conference

Every year, Measured Progress staff members are presenters at the National Conference on Large-Scale Assessment hosted by the Council of Chief State School Officers. More than 800 people with a professional interest in student assessments attend this conference. This year’s event takes place June 20 through 23 at the Boston, Massachusetts, Marriott Copley Place.
