Measured Progress Researchers to Present Findings on Students in the GapNational Council on Measurement in Education 2007 Annual Meeting Students in the Gap(s): Who Is Not Validly Assessed in Large-Scale Assessment Systems and What Do They Really Need? This discussion will identify promising procedures and recommendations for states to consider as they examine gaps in their own assessment systems. Tuesday, April 10, 4:056:05 P.M., Room E2 American Educational Research Association (AERA) Annual Meeting Inclusion and Accommodation in Large-Scale Assessment - SIG Business Meeting and Panel Discussion Researchers from the New England Compact will present “Looking at Gaps in Large-Scale Assessments: 2% or Two Gaps?” This session will include findings from the Reaching Students in the Gap project and how these relate to current discussions about testing two percent of students on modified achievement standards. The AERA special interest group, Inclusion and Accommodation in Large-Scale Assessment, invited researchers to do a special presentation at the group’s business meeting.
