- working with states to design content standards, alternate grade-level indicators, and alternate achievement standards for students with significant cognitive disabilities
- developing alternate assessment frameworks, customized and aligned to each state’s standards and grade-level expectations
- assisting states in designing instructional strategies and IEPs
Standard Setting
Our Research and Analysis department leads the field in standard-setting expertise. Expert psychometricians are available to provide consultation on all aspects of standard setting, resulting in a technically sound process. Each standard-setting model takes into account your specific assessment and results, and can include:
- Bookmarking
- Modified bookmarking
- Body of work
- Modified body of work
We can also provide a comprehensive report on the standard-setting process after its conclusion.
