The purpose of these documents is to assist educators to better understand and develop assessment activities connected to the AAGSEs. Because our AAGSEs may be listed under multiple SPTs, the sample activities and data collection may not connect to each SPT. In science, the focus of the document is on assessing the inquiry construct. Math · Reading · Writing · Science Understanding Structured Performance Tasks (PowerPoint) DVD Clips of RIAA Teacher Trainings (Session 1 and Session 2) Each video clip is approximately 20 minutes in length and offered in two qualities depending on your internet connection (“High” will perform faster/smoother). You must have Quicktime installed on your computer. Download a free version. All training clips will refer you to pages in the 2008-09 RIAA Administration Manual; therefore, you should have a copy nearby as you view the clips. You may download the document (see “Assessment Materials” above). Session 1 Clips 410 refer to student sample “Emma” which may be downloaded (see “Training Materials” above) prior to viewing.
