Rhode Island Alternate Assessment

Annually, approximately 850 students participate in the Rhode Island Alternate Assessment Program. Students are assessed in reading and mathematics in grades 2 through 8, and 10 and in writing in grades 4, 7, and 10. Science is assessed in grades 4, 8, and 11.
