Progress Toward Standards (PTS3) is an online reading and mathematics assessment system for grades three through eight and high school.

• Computer-based, interim test
• Items look and feel like statewide assessment questions—familiar to students, increases comfort on accountability tests
• Content-rich, psychometrically sound items aligned to national standards and subject to rigorous content and bias reviews
• The built-in flexibility to leave it to teachers to decide when and how to assess their students
• May be administered to several students at once in a computer lab or to one student at a time in a classroom setting
